“Gene Pool, Constructing Identity”.

Installation, neon, wood, glass, audio. Gene pool imagined as a pool of turquoise light, neon chromosomes, and a chromosome net representing the artist’s family tree. Dock, two way mirror, and dark space combine with audio to suggest unsanctioned laboratory. Audio includes a layered collage of dripping water, Jacob’s ladder, and manual typewriter.
